So, I came across an old blog I wrote when I was working for the Citizenship Foundation (now Young Citizens) way back in 2007. Looking back, it is very much targeted at young people whom I used to work with. I hope it will give you an insight into the work that the Citizenship Foundation and the National Trust do – enjoy!

My favourite place
In 2010 I was fortunate to be able to spend five days in Hong Kong. Hong Kong has got to be one of my favourite places in the world! It has something for everyone. Cleanliness for the OCD amongst you, gorgeous, fresh, beautifully cooked food for the foodies amongst you, history and architecture for the history buffs and affordable shopping. The people are incredibly friendly, tourists are accommodated and catered for in the areas of public transport.
Whilst there I stayed here: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/china/hyatt-regency-hong-kong-tsim-sha-tsui/honhr
The hotel is a little pricey, but it’s in a safe area and is close to amenities and the mono rail.
If you are looking for somewhere to visit that has a rich history, good shopping, lots of sightseeing and of course great food, then Hong Kong is the place for you.
Peace and Love.
So, this is different…
Hello there!
To those of you who have taken the time to read my thoughts and ramblings, how are you on this cold December afternoon?
This is my second attempt at a blog and it could go one of two ways. Either really well where i am witty, articulate and funny. Or really badly where i write rubbish that no one really care’s for and try to write another blog in a few years.
Either way, it’s going to be interesting…
My aim for this blog in addition to posting my musings and pictures of countries i’ve visited, is also to use this as a platform for my writing, to share my musical tastes and to generally interact with like minded people.
So, here goes!
